Why transfer to CD?
There are many reasons to transfer LP's to CD. Many years ago when vinyl was the main source
of music entertainment each household had one record deck normally kept within the lounge/living
room. With the advent of CD, players were used throughout the house, car, garden and portable
became the byword. Transfering your LP's to CD means that you can now hear your favourite music
anywhere, anytime with CD quality and without any unwanted noise. Your LP's can be safely stored
away. A collectors dream! Record playing decks will need replacing in time as will stylii. Most
modern Hi Fi systems however do not include record playing decks and their availability in the future
looks undecided. Specialist decks cost many hundreds of pounds. The only answer therefore is to
transfer your LP's to CD.
