Top What paper is used for the Jewel case cover inserts? Photo quality 128gm heavyweight matte paper is used for Jewel case cover inserts. Top Can you show the type of front insert? Here you see the 4 page insert. The left hand side is printed with the scanned image of the front of the LP. The right hand side is printed with the scanned image of the rear of the LP. The inside is not printed for a single LP but would include scanned images of the inside of the double LP sleeve where a double LP is ordered. Please note that we will not assemble and print track listings as these are usually within the LP sleeve itself.
Top How is the CD labelled or printed? As you can see in the image, we only thermally print the artist name, LP title and other information relating to copyright and contact details in black on a silver disk.
Top What about the rear jewel case insert? This is printed using the same type of paper as the front cover and using the rear of the LP sleeve as the scanned image. The edge strips are labelled with the artist name and LP title.
Top How do you get the LP picture for the jewel case? The front and back of the LP are scanned using high resolution scanners. The quality of the scan however can only ever be as good as the original LP sleeve. Where there is excessive "noise" or discolouration we will make adjustments to give as good an image as possible.
