Here are some examples for you to hear the results of noise elimination.
These are in .wav format but considerably compressed for quicker download.
There is some loss of quality as a result of this but noise elimination is clear.
Music 1 Before After
This is an example of a very badly scratched
quieter intro to a song. Noise is eliminated or
reduced to be virtually inaudible. Compression
in .wav format however reduces higher
frequencies.
Music 2 Before After
This song contains an annoying hiss that
detracts from the overall sound. This is
probably caused by old age and neglect.
Because this song came from a CD and has
already been "cleaned" it is difficult to remove
the noise completely, but it is now inaudible.
Once again compression in .wav format reduces
some of the frequencies.
